zOMT
I was approached by Preloaded to provide graphics and animation for zOMT, their spin on the tower defence genre for Adult Swim. Developer Liam Walsh coded the game, in which you take the role of a decidedly minor god, and must protect your halfwit followers from invading forces with your array of godly powers.
Here’s how the goodies and the baddies face off. It doesn’t like like a very fair fight:
As I like to make life difficult for myself, I decided not to use a single curved line in any of the artwork. The result was the spookily angular world you see above. I rather like it, and so did these guys:
