Maddie + Triggs

Maddie + Triggs is a 2D animated series from Turnip + Duck. It follows the adventures of a little girl and her doggy best friend as they experience the music and sounds of everyday life, by really listening to the world around them.

Maddie + Triggs began life as an award-winning podcast, and I had the great pleasure of handling visual development of the show for television, from character and environment design to the animated trailer and a full episode animatic.

The main character happens to have a vision impairment, and the goal is to create a show whereby if two kids (one sighted and one vision impaired) sit down side by side to ‘watch’ the show, neither will have a lesser experience.
