I was asked by the Google Doodle team to create a design for St George’s Day 2020 in the UK. I submitted three rough ideas, each playing on the theme of George and the Dragon, and the team chose one to develop further.

I tried a few different colourways before landing on the final palette. The team wanted something that nodded towards the colours of the standard Google logotype without feeling too on-the-nose.
